Do bees have artistic senses? Do they have preferences in shape or color? These are the basic questions Michaela Hanemann is asking here.
The artwork ist based on her project "endless summer".
Combinating artistic and scientistic methods she is creating installations of abstract flower-objects. These monochromous flower fields are parallel built up under comparible conditions.
In a second step they are going to be monitored.
Hanemann is counting the amount of visiting bees per type of object and analysing the data.
The results are going to be displayed here.
The project is going to start in August 2023.
